Part-Time Dentist Needed – Clay Center Family Dentistry

Clay Center Family Dentistry is a thriving, growing practice in beautiful Clay Center, Kansas—a safe, welcoming rural community of 4,100 people just minutes from Kansas State University in Manhattan. We're looking for an additional part-time dentist to join our exceptional team as we continue to expand and serve our wonderful patient base.

Our practice is built on excellence and continuity. With 7 fully equipped operatories and a team of highly qualified, loyal professionals—including four team members with 10+ years of tenure—we've created an environment where patients receive comprehensive, quality care and team members truly thrive.

The Position

We are seeking a part-time dentist to work 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday preferred, with some scheduling flexibility). Hours are 7 : 30 AM – 3 : 30 PM .

This is a growth opportunity : we lost a provider before COVID and have been a single-doctor practice since then. The patient flow and practice demand are strong, so there's potential to expand your hours and deeper involvement in the practice if you're interested and available.

What You'll Do

As our newest team member, you'll handle all types of dentistry in this multi-faceted practice.

We see approximately 30 patients per day and 20 new patients per month. Each doctor works out of 2 operatories, and you'll work alongside highly experienced Dental Assistants.

Preferred Skills : Candidates with implant, surgical, and endodontic experience are strongly preferred. Current referral cases include complex molars and surgical procedures, but we're eager to bring more of these services in-house.

About You

• Experience : 2–5+ years of clinical dentistry experience
• Licensure : Valid dental license in Kansas (or ability to obtain)
• Skills : Comfortable with all types of general dentistry; implant, surgery, and endo experience preferred
• Attitude : Team player who values quality patient care and enjoys working with a loyal, experienced staff
