JOB SUMMARY :

This mixer operator position is responsible for effeciently and accuratley performing ingredient mixes. Incumbent must

work together with other mixing team members to ensure optimum efficiency and to proptly report any concerns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Follow specific recipe sheets to mix ingredients

2. Weigh out dry and wet ingredients accurately

3. Complete assigned tasks in timely fashion

4. Maintain appropriate PPE and sanitation procedures

5. Communicate mixer concerns promptly to master mixer or supervisor.

6. Ensure quality specifications are met.

7. Ensure that all Safety rules, OSHA requirements and Company Policies are followed.

8. All staff are responsible for Compliance with all GMP, Food Safety and Plant Safety rules while in the

processing facility. Staff are encouraged to report Food Safety and Quality concerns immediately to

their supervisors and Quality representatives on shift.

9. Other responsibilities as assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

Qualified individuals must be at least 18 years old to work in the food manufacturing environment. Ability to follow work

instruction and maintain pace of mixing is required. Effective communication skills are needed to maintain batches. This

position requires incumbent to have keen attention to detail and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative

environment. The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

1. Work in and out of cold environment.

2. Must wear required PPE and follow sanitation protocol

3. Lift up to 50 lbs.

4. Maneuver around an array of equipment that may include : bending, stooping, reach above head.

5. Stand for majority of shift, up to 8 hrs. at a time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

This position works in a manufacturing environment with variable temperature and loud noises from machinery and

equipment alarms.
