A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - PCU Job Details : - Work 12-hour night shifts from 5 : 00 PM to 5 : 00 AM - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment on 10th floor - Patient ratio of 1 : 4 - Required certifications : ACLS - PCU and cardiac experience required - Must be experienced with drips including heparin, tikosin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, and ketamine - Work with telemetry equipment, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, bipap, cpap, heated high flow, chest tubes, foleys, pacer wires / pacers, IV pumps, and SCD pumps - Perform procedures including chest tube placement and removal, pacer wire removal, and 12-lead EKGs - EMR system : Meditech - Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, and 2 PCTs - Fast-paced and challenging cardiac unit environment - High acuity patient population - Must be a great team player with high energy Facility : This healthcare facility operates as a cardiac center of excellence, featuring a 20-bed Progressive Care Unit located on the 10th floor of the main hospital building.
