Position Summary :
Strang is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our Design Synchronicity Culture. As a key member of our organization, you will collaborate closely with Strang's team of design professionals on a diverse range of compelling projects.Duties and Responsibilities :
Design and develop HVAC systems for buildings and structures.Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems with other building systems.Produce mechanical drawings and specifications across all design phases, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction / Bid Documents, Permit Documents and Construction Administration.Conduct load and energy calculationsAssist in feasibility studies, probable cost estimates, and energy modeling.Supervise the production of construction documents (i.e. plans, details, schedules, specifications)Provide construction administration for projects, ensuring quality control of work performed.Prioritize client care and effective communication.What you bring to the team :

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience8+ years of relevant engineering experience, specifically in HVAC designProfessional Engineer Registration (PE) is desiredProficiency in mechanical systems and the creation of construction documentsThorough knowledge of building codes and regulatory standardsFluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Expertise in Revit and other software programs associated with system sizing and design.Experience with Energy Modeling software (Trane Trace 3D or other programs) and analysis, including LEED or 90.1 compliance preferred but not requiredAdditional Information
