Responsibilities

Location of Internship : Tulsa, OK

Responsibilities :

Flight begins with you at Spirit AeroSystems, a place where you can explore your interests and grow your career by working on impactful projects. As a Tooling Engineering intern, your responsibilities and duties will include :

• Work on cross functional teams to understand production and tooling processes.
• Lead project to improve current build process by utilizing tool design and fabrication resources.
• Apply design expertise using CATIA-V5 to design / modify production or support fixtures.
• Develop activity based plan, project schedule and executive summary.
• Determine specifications and scope of project (safety / ergo improvements, lean manufacturing enhancements, shipping / handling development, etc.)
• Address team members and leadership on progression and conclusion of project.
