JOB SUMMARY

The Program Operations Volunteer Support Specialist provides matrixed support for volunteer engagement across all geographic hubs at Meals on Wheels Central Texas. This role serves as a direct line of support for volunteers and program coordinators, ensuring that volunteer engagement, appreciation, and training are effectively implemented. The specialist helps build strong volunteer programs by educating and supporting staff, without directly executing all duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 3+ years of experience in volunteer coordination or program support
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience developing and implementing volunteer engagement strategies
• Ability to train and support staff in volunteer management practices
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and insurable under MOWCTX policy
• Commitment to the mission and values of Meals on Wheels Central Texas.
