Civil Litigation Attorney
Established (20+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Civil Litigation Attorney for Complex Commercial & Insurance Defense in Houston, TX
An established firm based in Houston with over 20 years in practice is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join their team hybrid . This Attorney will have experience with complex commercial litigation and insurance defense , ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.
Offer :
Salary range : $150,000-$185,000, contingent on experience

Qualifications :
Candidates must hold a J.D. from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice in Texas.
A minimum of 4 years of civil litigation experience is required, with insurance defense experience considered a plus.
Strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills are essential.
Candidates must be able to manage cases independently and meet deadlines.
Experience taking and defending depositions is required.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills are necessary.
Responsibilities :
Manage a docket of civil litigation matters from inception through trial or settlement.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case development.
Maintain regular communication with clients and provide case updates.
