Job Overview

The Deposit Pricing team plays a critical role in shaping pricing decisions for Consumer and Small Business deposits across Checking, Savings, Money Market, and Certificates of Deposit accounts. This Vice President role leads the design and execution of forward-looking analytics, predictive pricing strategies, and risk-control frameworks that directly influence senior leadership decisions and drive profitable, compliant, and sustainable growth.

The Product Mgmt Lead Analyst requires deep expertise in deposit product pricing, advanced analytics, and enterprise-level strategy execution. The VP will lead initiatives that differentiate pricing strategies across Wealth, Retail, and Small Business segments, ensuring that pricing, risk, and compliance outcomes are seamlessly embedded into business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Predictive & Strategic Pricing Leadership Lead the development of forward-looking pricing analytics for Certificates of Deposit and MMA promotions, shaping bifurcated strategies between Wealth and USBP to proactively anticipate market shifts and optimize earnings.
  • Pricing Controls Redevelopment Redesign and oversee pricing control frameworks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational rigor across all Retail and Small Business deposit accounts.
  • Small Business Pricing Strategy Build and scale analytics and controls capabilities for Small Business deposits, establishing robust frameworks modeled after Consumer Deposits to enable sustainable segment growth.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with Finance, Marketing, Operations, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and the Deposit Product Office (DPO) to ensure pricing strategies are fully integrated into enterprise processes, delivering consistent and high-impact outcomes.
  • Enterprise Impact & Governance Prepare and present strategic pricing insights, financial models, and risk analyses to senior executives and governance committees, driving alignment between profitability, compliance, and growth.
  • Innovation & Process Improvement Continuously evolve pricing methodologies and analytical frameworks to respond to dynamic rate environments and competitive pressures, ensuring the organization maintains a differentiated market position.

  • Ability to lead transformation in areas with limited existing capabilities, particularly Small Business analytics.

  • Qualifications

  • 6- 10 years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years in financial services with direct expertise in deposit pricing, predictive analytics, and financial modeling.
  • Proven track record in leading cross-segment pricing strategies (Consumer, Wealth, and / or Small Business).
  • Strong knowledge of deposit product economics, interest rate dynamics, and risk-control frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAS (SAS Programming, SAS Macro, SAS STAT); experience with R, Python, Tableau, or equivalent tools preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-level strategic initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree / University degree - preferred in quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
