About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Technology & Security Officer to play a pivotal role in the strategic development and execution of the organization's IT and security initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the implementation of IT and security strategies that align with business needs, drive ROI, and ensure the security of the company's information technology systems. This includes leading IT projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as HIPAA, and staying abreast of technological advancements to foster innovation and efficiency. The role also involves leading the development of security policies, incident response planning, and risk management to continuously enhance the organization's security framework.
Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field, at least 10 years of senior-level experience in IT or cybersecurity, and a strong background in information security frameworks and standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cyber incident response management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and supervise a team. While not mandatory, relevant certifications and experience within a healthcare organization are preferred. The Chief Information Technology & Security Officer will work closely with executive leadership to ensure that the company's physical and IT security objectives are met and will be a key partner in the organization's emergency preparedness, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
