Position Overview

Job Title : Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Employment Type : Full-Time | Direct Hire

Setting : Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Location : Waverly, NY (Southern Tier region)

Salary Range : $91,520 $114,400, based on experience

Open to : Permanent and Travel Therapists | CFY Candidates Welcome

Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

Deliver therapy services for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders

Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary rehab team

Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations, progress, and discharge

Participate in care planning and communicate with residents families

Conduct audiometric screenings and provide appropriate referrals

Educate and support facility staff through in-services and training sessions

Ensure compliance with clinical and safety standards

Qualifications

Masters Degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Valid New York State license to practice (or eligibility to obtain)

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred ; CFY candidates welcome

Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-focused therapy
