Emergency Medical Technician - Emergency Department

Inova Oakville Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Technician to join our team and support continued expansion of services in the eastern region of Northern Virginia. This role will be full time, evening shift (11am - 11pm AND 1pm -1am).

The Emergency Medical Technician 2 provides accurate documentation of all procedures and therapies in patients' medical records and all specimens. Assists mid-level providers and physicians with collecting, labeling and transporting irretrievable specimens. Cleans and dresses wounds per physician orders and performs surgical preparation of wounds according to protocol and assists with application / removal of sutures.
