Hours : 28hrs

Shift : Day / Evening shift with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation; Hours vary

Location : Enterostomal - St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Position reports to the Director, Professional Development or designee. Identify and provide care for the patient with an ostomy and / or acute skin problem in all settings. Serve as a consultant in the care of patients with complex draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers and skin problems related to fecal and urinary incontinence and all types of ostomies. Collaborate with patients / families and health care providers in achieving optimal patient outcomes. Identify the learning needs of staff, patients and families in relation to the care of ostomies, wounds, pressure ulcers or other skin problems and participate in designing, implementing and evaluating comprehensive teaching programs.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
