Job Description

Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Wetumpka, Alabama, is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist on a contract basis. This role requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist with proven experience in respiratory care.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide respiratory therapy treatments and services to patients as ordered by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
  • Document procedures and patient responses accurately.

Qualifications :

  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • Strong clinical skills in respiratory therapy including airway management and ventilator support.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent munication and patient care skills.

    • Schedule :

  • 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 00 p.m.).
  • Contract opportunity.
