• Schedule : Full-Time; Monday-Friday 8 : 00AM-4 : 30PM; Late coverage expected (after 4 : 30pm); no nights, weekends or holidays.\n

Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProvide direct nursing care, including the administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy\ntreatments in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare\norganization.\n
• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.\n
• Document and carries out physician and nursing orders.\n
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.\n
• Assess patient for expected side effects and has knowledge of how to handle them. Observe for allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to the drugs and take appropriate action.\n
• Practice safe handling of cytotoxic agents, including any spills.\n
• Draw blood sample and is an expert in the use of Triple lumen catheters, PortaCath, Hickman, Groshong,and PICC lines, and several types of programmable pumps. Troubleshoot problems with these technologies.\n\nRequirements\n\nLicensure / Certification / Registration : \n
• Certification specializing in Chemotherapy credentialed from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date rwquired.\n
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.\n
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\n\nEducation : \n
