Job descriptionPhysician- led scheduling : Watauga : 8-9-hour shifts Cannon : 12-hour shifts Annual ED Volume : Watauga : ~25,000 visits Cannon : ~8,500 visits 7 full-time physicians; 2 full-time Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) In-House Coverage (24 / 7) : OB, Hospitalists, Pediatrics Surgery and Orthopedics Cardiology with PCI & STEMI capabilities On-Call Specialties : ENT, GI, Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Urology, Radiology, Palliative Care EPIC EMR Access to Abridge, an AI-powered documentation tool integrated with Epic Part of a nationally recognized, physician-led medical group Embedded service line model Committed to safe, equitable care for all patients Emergency Medicine Board Certified / Board Eligible North Carolina Medical License (or eligibility) Sign-on Bonus eligible and Relocation assistance Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowances of up to $6000 annually Comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage Competitive retirement options, including a 403(b) plan with up to 10% employer contributions and an additional 457(b) deferred compensation plan Flexible spending accounts for eligible health care and dependent care expenses Family support benefits, which may include parental leave, adoption assistance, and surrogacy support Educational assistance and professional development programs Paid medical liability insurance with tail coverage Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer
