Title : Mental Health Clinician
Reports to : Director of Clinical Operations
Job Objectives :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team delivering community-based services through New York State's CORE, which stands for Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment, program. This role focuses on providing Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment, or CPST, a Medicaid-funded service designed to help individuals with behavioral health needs gain skills, improve functioning, and achieve greater independence within their communities.
As a CPST provider, you will work with clients in a variety of settings, including their homes, community spaces, and our agency site, to offer flexible, person-centered care. This position is ideal for a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who is passionate about promoting recovery, reducing hospitalizations, and helping clients navigate life's challenges with dignity and empowerment.
You will play a vital role in supporting clients as they develop coping skills, build resilience, and connect with community resources that foster independence and well-being. Your work will focus on creating a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, valued, and motivated to achieve their personal goals. Through compassionate advocacy and evidence-based interventions, you will help individuals overcome barriers, improve their quality of life, and move toward sustained mental health recovery.
Direct supervision of stated positions and oversight of stated programs are periodically re-evaluated and may change subject to the discretion of Executive Director.

Qualifications
o License in Social Work (LMSW, LCSW)
o License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT)
o Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
o Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)
o Licensed Psychologist
o Mental health counseling : 1 year.
