Territory
- Territory:Tacoma, Olympia, Vancouver (South Puget Sound) - Washington State
- Residence in the territory is required.
- Travel up to 50% - 75% local, minimal overnight travel with occasional National travel possible.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile.
What you'll be doing
As an Account Executive, you will drive sales of Baxter capital equipment including smart beds and surfaces, mobility solutions, as well as clinical workflow solutions, which specialize in software and information technology to improve patient care. Territory sales range from $3M to $15M. You will provide expert knowledge and insights to support the successful adoption and implementation of Baxter's solutions. Your goal is to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction within your territory.
- Develop and implement sales structure and strategies that deliver comprehensive solutions to customers within the assigned region or account base to capture new accounts and enhance performance in existing accounts.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, identifying key trends, challenges, and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with clients, applying expertise and industry knowledge to provide strategic mentorship and support.
- Take ownership in your sales territory, achieving results and applying your expertise to provide outstanding value to customers.
- Achieve and maintain a high level of sales performance, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas, and demonstrating a strong ability to drive revenue growth.
- Apply expertise in sales tactics and market knowledge to drive sales outcomes through effective negotiation and relationship-building, securing agreements and driving business results.
- Partner with other sales specialists/support teams across Baxter to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Lead and participate in on-site customer deliveries, ensuring seamless execution and oversee installation of new products.
- Schedule and lead quarterly/annual client business reviews
- Maintain industry and product knowledge: Keep abreast of current health care trends and technology.
- Lead the sales specialists and services personnel to drive new deals.
- Local Travel up to 75%, minimal overnights.
What you'll bring
- HS diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare or medical devices.
- Expert communication skills to relay complex ideas clearly and concisely, adapting to different audiences and interactions at all partner levels
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality presentations that resonate with audiences and get results
- Effective influencing skills – ability to understand the needs of, and influence, personnel ranging from nurses to C-level decision makers
- Strong analytical skills - understand local market and competitive trends and support the analysis of sales deals
- Strong collaboration, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and interact with collaborators at all levels
- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to quickly shifting priorities, managing competing priorities simultaneously.
- High level of motivation, and drive to work with a sense of urgency
- Exceptional ability to influence and persuade others, with a high level of effectiveness in negotiations and conflict resolution. Demonstrated ability to implement strong strategy plans.

The estimated pay range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less within the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
