The Process & Governance Department Overview
The team responsible for Process & Governance drives innovation and scalability across Vantage by implementing technology solutions, ensuring compliance, and optimizing processes globally. We partner with every department to deliver solutions that enable efficiency and growth.
Position Overview
This role is based in Denver, Colorado, with flexible work arrangement : 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
This position will lead a small team and direct vendor relationship management while leading all aspects of financial governance for vendor-related spend across the department. This role combines strategic vendor oversight with hands-on budget tracking and reporting responsibilities. The Vendor Manager will ensure vendors deliver on commitments, contracts are compliant, and budgets remain aligned with interpersonal goals.
This position requires strong analytical skills, financial competence, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal collaborators and external partners worldwide
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management & Relationship Building
Develop, run, and maintain strong relationships with vendors, OEMs, and contractors globally.
Serve as the primary point of contact regarding vendor efficiency, issue resolution, and customer concern.
Schedule and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key vendors to assess performance and compliance.
Negotiate terms and pricing to optimize cost savings and service quality.
Ensure vendors carry out to contractual obligations and service-level agreements (SLAs)
Contract & Compliance Oversight
Create, review, and validate vendor contracts and onboarding documentation.
Maintain an organized repository of all vendor agreements and legal documents.
Supervise compliance with internal policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks related to vendor delivery and contractual obligations.
Budget Management & Financial Reporting
Track and report on vendor-related expenditures, including committed vs. actual spend.
Provide monthly and quarterly budget updates to leadership and budget owners.
Assist with forecasting and financial planning for vendor-related costs.
Develop dashboards and reports to provide transparency on vendor spend and budget alignment.
Partner with budget owners to ensure adherence to financial targets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Establish and supervise KPIs for vendor performance; report findings to leadership.
Analyze vendor performance data to recommend improvements and cost optimization strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify vendors that consistently meet or go above and beyond.
Drive initiatives to standardize vendor management processes and improve efficiency.
Operational Support
Ensure timely execution of projects through close coordination with vendors, procurement, and operations teams.
Validate invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
Create and manage purchase orders for vendor-related transactions.
Support global initiatives by aligning vendor strategies with regional requirements (EMEA, APAC, North America).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain.
Strong financial reporting and budgeting experience required.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
Experience in data center, technology, or high-growth industries preferred.
Familiarity with contract management systems and ERP tools is a plus.
Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details
Salary Range : $115,000-125,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
