American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience and current ARRT and BLS certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an acute care cardiac cath lab with 2 cath lab suitesPatient population includes STEMI, structural heart procedures (Mitraclip, TAVR, Watchman), PFO, ASD, PCI, IABP insertion, and Impella-assisted PCIAverage 8-10 cases per dayRequired to scrub and monitor cases, including structural heart proceduresUses MacLab and Cerner for charting4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with required call—shifts typically 6 : 30 AM-5 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 AM-5 : 30 PMApproximately one weeknight call per week (end of day to 7 : 00 AM) and 1-2 weekend calls per month (Friday evening to Monday morning)Call response time is 30 minutesNo floating outside the cath lab unless otherwise arranged based on experienceScrubs are provided daily upon arrivalDuties include scrubbing and monitoring a variety of complex cardiac casesOne-week orientation includes general hospital orientation, three days on-unit, and weekend buddy callTravel experience highly preferred but not requiredManager and daily point RN or tech (Charge) provide unit supportStaff are assigned to holiday call as neededEmployees must pay for parking on day shifts—reimbursement not offeredReturning candidates may not have been employed by the affiliated health system within the past year\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year recent cath lab experience including both scrub and monitor rolesValid WA license required at time of consideration; license required if applicableCurrent ARRT and BLS certifications required, ACLS preferredExperience with structural heart cases preferredMust provide personal radiation badgeAbility to work flexible shifts Monday through Friday and fulfill call requirementsMust submit a copy of driver’s license for considerationTwo professional references required : one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years including employment dates and rehire eligibility\n Benefits\n
