As a Detail & Transport Specialist at Alaska Auto Rental, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our rental vehicles are impeccably clean and ready for our valued renters.

Position : Automotive Detail & Transport Specialist

Location : Fairbanks, Alaska

Pay Rate : $15-$20 / hour DOE

Schedule flexibility & weekend availability is required for this position. Full-time and part-time, seasonal or permanent hours available.

What to Expect :

Hands-On Work : Keep vehicles looking their best by thoroughly cleaning and detailing both the interior and exterior.

Fast-Paced Environment : Engage in a variety of tasks, from vehicle cleaning to facility maintenance and organization.

Independence & Responsibility : Work efficiently to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Customer Interaction : Transport vehicles, ensuring safe and professional service.

Technology Use : Take and send vehicle photos using a smartphone and perform basic computer data entry.

Physical Capability : Must be able to lift 50lbs occasionally and perform physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements :

At least 1 year of driving experience, a current driver’s license, and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier is preferred, but not required .

Ability to work varying shifts and schedules, including weekends.

Must be punctual and able to work independently.

Must own a working smartphone.

Must not use tobacco or marijuana products during working hours.
