Job Summary
The Manager of Entertainment is self-motivated and self-managed. They will perform the duties of Front of House / Audio 1 for internal day-to-day live performances and occasional external client / tenant needs. Responsible for assisting in design, equipment selection, and programming the Entertainment A / V Systems for various projects, events, and entertainment venues. Responsibilities may include troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving network issues (e.g., Dante, QSC, Crestron). Oversees crews to install, operate, and strike A / V equipment and staging. Sharing best practices based on experience and direction is imperative. This position reports to the Senior Director of Programming - Entertainment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Coordination and execution of all Entertainment live performances and event activations, working in tandem with the Property General Manager, Maintenance & Security Teams, and others as applicable.
- Audio engineer for day-to-day operations of live performances.
- Anticipate audio / lighting / video equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise personnel to assist with events on a case-by-case basis.
- Supervise the operation, maintenance, safety, security, and quality assurance of audio / lighting / video equipment in accordance with TEG brand standards.
- Exceed the expectations and needs of both internal and external clients and customers.
- Enforce The Entertainment Group7s standards for the team to portray a polished and professional image.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established TEG policies, procedures, training, and team member involvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience with entertainment / event operations.High school diploma or GED.Able to adhere to all attendance and appearance guidelines.Ability to manage talent and teams across the organization.Stay current on industry trends.Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and oral.Basic mathematics skills with practical application.Preferred Competencies & Qualifications
Technical school or an associate degree (AA).Minimum of 5 years of experience in the entertainment industry.#J-18808-Ljbffr
