Job Title : Systems Engineer

Start Date : November 17th – ASAP

Schedule : Standard 8 AM – 5 PM, occasional after-hours maintenance work

Overview

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to backfill critical positions impacted by organizational changes. This role involves managing infrastructure services, handling ticket requests, and supporting automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Linux-based systems, virtualization, and container orchestration technologies, along with scripting skills for automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain systems across Linux, VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and OpenShift environments.
• Handle approximately 10 ticket requests per week using Jira (no advanced Jira skills required).
• Create and deploy services to support enterprise infrastructure.
• Perform routine maintenance and occasional after-hours work to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
• Participate in two-stage interview process (initial walkthrough and technical Webex).
