Travel Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse - $2,855 per week

• 1 : 2 patient ratio with potential for 1.5 : 1 ratio during days, nights, and weekends
• 13 or 26 week contracts available with 36 or 48 hours per week
• 2 years of ICU experience required, no first-time travelers accepted
• Every other weekend required
• Float within service line to ICU units as needed
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• RTO limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract, no RTO first week
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks
• Navy scrubs required
• Care for patients with respiratory failure / ARDS, acute chest pain / cardiac / arrhythmias, stroke, cardiac arrest, DKA, multi-organ failure, and sepsis
• Handle pre and post-op cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal surgeries
• Manage medicine and neuro-medicine overflow, pre-and post-transplant cases
• Provide end of life / organ donation care
• Work with specialized equipment including IV pumps / titration, CRRT / dialysis, ventilators / BiPAP, hemodynamic / invasive monitoring, and defibrillator / crash cart
• Extensive skills required including arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, blood product administration, and cardiac drip titration
