Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

Location : Albany, NY

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Bariatric Surgery Office. In this essential role, you will provide direct patient care under the guidance of our healthcare team, including attending physicians and RNs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Obtain and accurately record patients' vital signs.
• Document components of patients' medical history.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Assist in in-office procedures under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
• Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing.
• Conduct venipuncture to collect blood samples for laboratory testing.
• Handle prescription call-backs as per your scope of practice.
• Prepare patient charts with pertinent clinical information.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and ensure examination rooms are stocked.
• Comply with Albany Medical Center's regulatory standards.
