Position : Product Line Manager

Location : Nashua, NH

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom / Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Product Line Manager to join our team. The position will be located in Nashua, NH.

High speed cable backplane systems enable most of the world's IT and datacom; including leading the way for the AI / ML revolution; and require some of the most advanced manufacturing technologies, and highest levels of precision, in the engineering world. These challenges require the most creative, technical minds, and ultimately provide the most rewarding experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Product Line Manager will work with cross functional teams to drive the development and marketing of Amphenol's Cable Backplane products. This role will be responsible for promoting our products to their assigned market, winning key new design opportunities, and developing / executing the product strategies required to rapidly grow the business, both top and bottom line. The ideal candidate must beversatile, with a good blend of business and technical savvy, and a quick learner with the ability to manage new responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

• Drive the new business opportunity funnel, helping sales and the business unit align on the strategy and actions required to win each new opportunity. Work closely with the field sales teams to identify requirements and market trends to facilitate new design wins
• Proactively present and promote the optical portfolio to help the field teams understand the positioning, benefits, and target customers.
• Prepare revenue projections for key account(s); forecast analysis and preparing book-to-ship estimates
• Maximize share at key account(s) by coordinating pricing and market strategy with sales
• Regular customer visits, travel for training, factory visits and customer negotiations.
• Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, business development and operations) to proactively identify product and solution gaps and define market requirements to close the total available market space.
• Play the role of Business Plan owner for their own products through :

Life cycle management / rationalization, PCNs
