JOB GOAL: To provide an approved educational program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth; to help students develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate for Biology (K-12) or ability to obtain certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program.
• Holder of Certificates of Eligibility must complete the 50-hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education.
• Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods.
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
