Calibration Technician

Our client, a leader in the metrology industry, is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a mechanical aptitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : North Kingstown, RI

Temp to Perm position

Pay Range : $21-23

Shift : 2nd- 3 : 30PM-11 : 30PM

What's the Job?

Understand the Metrology Portable Service ISO 17025 Quality Systems.

Aide with performing accurate, correct, and repeatable calibrations of customer equipment to appropriate standards.

Assist with documenting and reporting results, providing certification traceable to N.I.S.T and ISO 17025 standards.

Maintain company equipment in good working order and ensure equipment selected for use is calibrated and current.

Learn from and study experienced Calibration Technicians' techniques and work.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or equivalent.

1 - 3 years of related experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in Calibration of PCMM's and / or Machine repair.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and understanding of SMax.
