About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Active nursing license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, NIHSS required

Must-Have : Previous charge experience

Must work one holiday (eve and day)

Description :

The RN will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition.

No postpartum care will be provided.

Experience in patient ratios is preferred.

Charting system experience is preferred.

Cerner experience is preferred.

Experience in high-risk delivery and breastfeeding support is required.

Skills in administering medications, including antihypertensives and insulin drips, are essential.

The RN will be involved in various procedures such as sterile vaginal exams, C-sections, and managing hemorrhage.

Knowledge of fetal heart rate monitoring and recognizing abnormal patterns is required.

The RN must provide care to neonates, infants, and adults.

Daily census may fluctuate, requiring adaptability in patient care.

The unit is expected to handle 200-300 facility births per month.

Support for both antepartum and postpartum patients will be executed effectively.

Floating to antepartum may be required.

An on-site drug screen will be conducted as part of the compliance process.
