Job Summary

Responsible for full cycle Accounts Payable processing of invoices, payment requests, and / or employee reimbursement requests. Includes timely processing of all invoices as assigned and verification of accuracy and authorization of invoices prior to release for payment. AP Specialist is required to process a minimum of invoices per day as deemed appropriate by the department leader. AP Specialist is to have an expert working knowledge of ERP and imaging system.

Remote work possible for this position.

Accountabilities

Exhibits an expert working knowledge of ERP domain and imaging system. Accurately processes all invoices assigned within deadline established by department leader. Processes a minimum number of invoices daily while maintaining the overall productivity requirement. - 40%

Troubleshoots coding and matching discrepancies. Escalates unresolved items to Customer Service and / or Manager. Ensures invoices are processed with applicable state and local sales and use taxes. - 20%

Processes assigned invoices routed back to AP for resolution within aging deadlines while maintaining productivity requirements. - 10%

Maintains an excellent working relationship with other departments. Communicates regularly and efficiently with Purchasing in order to ensure timely processing of invoices. - 20%

Review and approve employee reimbursement requests. Ensure company policies and guidelines are adhered to. - 10%

Supervisory / Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

3 years - Accounts Payable. General Business

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

• Basic computer skills including spreadsheets and data entry
• Knowledge of office equipment (fax / copier)
• Mathematical skills

Attention to detail, thoroughness

Ability to analyze information

Strong data entry skills, basic computer skills
