Your Responsibilities :
Our Electro-Mechanical Division (EMD) is searching for a Linux System Engineer to join the Engineering IT team to design, deploy, maintain, and upgrade specialized hardware and software systems

Your Challenge :
Administer Enterprise Linux servers, ensuring system availability, security, and performance
Implement and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management
Support engineering by deploying and managing HPC nodes & clusters
Collaborate with development teams to deploy and support applications
Monitor system health using Prometheus & Grafana
What you Bring :
Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience as a Linux System Engineer
Minimum relevant experience of 6 years
Coding / scripting experience highly desired (bash, python, perl)
Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management
Knowledge of GitLab or other version control systems
Familiarity with virtualization and containerization
Understanding of HPC environments
Experience with environments running Oracle databases
