DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will supervise inmate work crews as they undertake routine assignments such as lawn care, snow removal, janitorial duties, and general maintenance. Duties involve planning and assigning daily schedules, as well as reviewing completed work to ensure quality. You will offer guidance on the operation and preventative maintenance of machinery and vehicles. Additionally, you will collaborate with or support maintenance staff across various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, refrigeration, masonry, and other specialized areas. Managing and overseeing the distribution and monitoring of tools and materials for work assignments will also be a key part of your responsibilities.
