We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our safety program in compliance with OSHA regulations, and our quality management system structured around ISO 9001 standards. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a culture of safety and quality across all manufacturing and process operations.
What You'll Do
Safety Program
- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive safety program based on OSHA and Standex standards
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for manufacturing processes.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for Team Members
- Monitor and audit safety practices, ensuring corrective actions are taken when necessary
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses. Coach Managers and Supervisors on effective investigations
- Lead cross-functional Safety Team
- Maintain documentation and reporting in accordance with OSHA requirements
- Analyze data and trends to identify risk areas and develop solutions for mitigation
Quality Management System
Develop, implement, and maintain a quality management system aligned with ISO 9001 standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document processes, procedures, and work instructions.Develop and maintain an internal audit system to ensure process discipline and improvementAnalyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).Develop and maintain process for calibration and maintenance of measurement and testing equipment.Ensure product quality standards are met through in-process and final inspection.Review and analyze internal and external data sources to improve in-house quality and improve customer facing performance.What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).3+ years of experience in process engineering, safety management, or quality systems.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO 9001 standards.Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., A3, 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.What We Value
