Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5+ years of proven logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse operations experience to ensure the efficient movement of products to customers worldwide. This role is vital in optimizing processes, reducing costs, and maintaining excellent customer service while collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all logistics operations including transportation planning via truck, rail, van, and overseas containers.
Provide shipment updates to customers and ensure freight rates remain accurate and competitive.
Leverage data analysis to monitor logistics performance metrics and drive continual process improvements.
Coordinate with customers and vendors to support procurement strategies and manage long-term supplier relationships.
Negotiate with shippers and carriers , continuously evaluating and onboarding new partners to strengthen shipping capabilities.
Collaborate with Sales, Inventory Control, and Operations teams on production planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
Analyze freight costs, pricing strategies, and profit & loss statements to optimize logistics expenditures.
Maintain accurate documentation of all shipping and inventory records.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse distribution experience required .

Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to manage purchasing and supplier contracts.

Proficiency in data analysis and supply chain performance metrics .

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple demands effectively.

Experience with materials management processes and inventory systems.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive both independently and in a team environment.

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with equivalent relevant experience .
