Our capabilities at DJS are constantly expanding and currently include CNC machining full metal fabrication (laser brake welding) painting integrated assemblies and more. Our facility includes the latest in manufacturing technology and equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1st shift : Monday through Friday 6 : 00 am-2 : 00 pm

The Welder will perform the daily set-up and fabricate / weld (MIG and / or TIG) weldments in a variety of materials including carbon steel stainless steel and aluminum utilizing blue prints for set-up and inspection of parts to ensure customer specifications are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Lead welding department - coach train and instruct other team members.
• Set-up lay-out tack-up and weld sheet metal or plate in constructing customer parts and components
• Tack and / or weld metal parts together using MIG and / or TIG welding
• Safely apply welds per specifications to produce completed product
• Monitors the fitting burning and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping shrinking distortion or expansion of material
• Capable of porosity-free TIG welding and MIG welding
• Follow and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations / maintain safe work area.
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.

This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field. The pay range / rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including but not limited to the position offered location education training and / or experience.
