Job description

Role Description :

  • Participating in architectural discussions and decision-making processes to ensure alignment with business goals and best practices.
  • Documenting architectural designs, configurations, and implementation guidelines for reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members on cloud architecture principles, best practices, and technologies.
  • Taking part in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide updates on cloud-related tasks and initiatives.
  • Contributing to developing and maintaining cloud governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborating with procurement and finance teams to optimize cloud spending and manage budgets effectively.

Essential Skills :

  • Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Cloud platform automation and an SRE or DevOps organization.
  • Proven experience in a lead or senior engineering role focusing on cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong background in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering fields or equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of cloud networking, storage, and computing concepts.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Oracle Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana).

    • Desirable Skills :

  • Excellent problem-solving skills is required
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Strong ability to make decisions, influence others' choices, and build relationships is required
  • Nice to have some knowledge in Retail business
  • Be extremely proactive and independent
  • Be a value addition to the team to collaborate and achieve success by completing project goals
