About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Float Pool

Specialty : Acute Med / Surg

Duration : 15 Weeks

Shift : Nights

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience floating to med / surg, ICU, and ER

License :

Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse.

Certifications :

BLS, ACLS, PALS required through AHA or RQI system.

NIHSS required.

Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire.

CPI certification within 90 days of hire.

Must-Have :

Must be comfortable floating to ICU, ER, and Med / Surg.

Must have a BSN and critical care experience.

Description :

RN working nights from 7 PM to 7 AM.

EOW and holiday rotations are required along with 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are needed.

Computer literacy is required.

Demonstrates behaviors consistent with principles of a healing environment.

Creates a safe environment and promotes dignity and respect for all individuals.

Exemplifies healthy relationships within the workplace.

Must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care for patients.

Ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.

Interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.

Provide care needed for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups.
