Position Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

Responsible for CNC machine troubleshooting, updatingtool paths and completing set ups for machines on 2nd shift.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Knowledge to teach robot and gantry pickup points

Knowledge of Nachi robot controls

Recognize tool paths by interpreting the program (G and Mcodes)

Machine set-ups and changeovers

Ability to train associates on machining standards

Troubleshoot daily production problems through root causeanalysis techniques as they occur

Participate in continuous improvement processes

Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards

REQUIREMENTS :

1 to 3 years of experience in high volume precisionmachining environment

General understanding of manufacturing processes anddetailed knowledge of lathe tooling / programming

High school diploma or equivalent experience required

Knowledge of Hard Turning, Green Turning, Milling,Broaching and Part Finishing machining processes

Skills Required
