Job Description

The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role during patient visits by accompanying the dermatologist in the room and fostering a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists.

Responsibilities

Room patients and document all vital information.

Scribe information for the dermatologist.

Draw blood and collect specimens.

Clean and stock the exam rooms.

Schedule patient appointments.

Triage and follow up with patients.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.

Proficiency in medical assisting, EMR, and rooming.

Experience with Epic, RMA, dermatology, and Mohs procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferred candidates have experience in dermatology, specialty practice, or procedure assistance.

Flexibility and the ability to work across multiple sites, particularly in Appleton and Kaukauna.

Experience in a fast-paced specialty clinic supporting multiple providers.

Consideration for LPN or RN candidates interested in the position.

Work Environment

This role operates Monday through Friday from 7 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m. in the Appleton and Kaukauna clinics. Schedules are typically known 4-6 weeks in advance, and flexibility is preferred. The environment supports learning, growth, and advancement opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $34.00 / hr.
