Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Systems Engineer - Crypto - this is a fully remote role for US / Europe based candidates, as long as they can work EST hours.

We are building the rails to bring Wall Street settlement into the 21st century.

Current settlement infrastructure wastes billions in trapped capital and operational inefficiency, forcing institutions to maintain massive reserves, limiting market liquidity, and creating systemic risk that grows more dangerous as markets become increasingly global and interconnected.

With $40M in funding from Electric Capital and Paradigm, we are bringing together the best from both Wall Street and Ethereum to reimagine the infrastructure that underpins the financial system.

What Will You Do?

This is a wide ranging role for the kind of person who enjoys being thrown into complicated challenges across the company. Specifically, you will :

Own the critical intersection between our core systems. To bring Wall Street onto Ethereum, we need to build a number of separate but interacting systems. A core piece of this role is to architect and implement the complex state management layer between them.

Productionize our infrastructure. In order to solve our own technical requirements, we’ve developed systems that would benefit the wider crypto ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for thinking through the abstractions to make these systems generally useful primitives.

Tackle our gnarliest technical challenges. When the team faces seemingly impossible problems, you'll be the one we turn to.

Who Are You?

Absolutely cracked. This isn't a role for a "good engineer." You’re the type who gets excited by thorny problems, loves digging into new tools, and often finds yourself emerging from an all-night coding spree with something that feels magical.

Technical polymath. You’ll be working across our whole stack, so experience with TypeScript, Rust, ZK, and privacy tech are all valuable. But what matters most is your proven ability to quickly master complex new domains.

Systems thinker. You are comfortable stepping back from a concrete problem to understand the abstractions behind it. You’ll need to make connections across our suite of products, and should be able to see the patterns and identify the risks that others miss.
