Bilingual Vietnamese Patient Services Representative (Psr)
We are seeking a Bilingual Vietnamese Patient Services Representative (PSR)! This role is vital to creating a welcoming and positive experience for our patients. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing world-class customer service while supporting our patients and clinical care team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients warmly, addressing their needs with care, and maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor at all times.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in both English and Vietnamese, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity in every interaction.
- Answer and manage multi-line phone systems, scheduling both new and return patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
- Screen calls, take detailed messages, and route requests for prescription refills or patient concerns to the appropriate provider or nurse.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and staff information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Collaborate effectively with patients, clinical staff, and the general public to ensure a smooth flow of daily operations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology to support accurate communication and scheduling.
- Learn and utilize computerized systems for scheduling, patient records, and other administrative tasks.
- Stay organized and manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Assist with additional administrative duties as needed to support the clinics success.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required.Bilingual fluency in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).Previous experience in a medical office or related healthcare setting preferred.Strong interpersonal and telephone skills with the ability to maintain a compassionate and positive attitude.Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently throughout the workday.Highly organized, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.Why Join Us?
