Mexican Derivatives Broker
Tradition America Holdings, Inc. seeks a Mexican Derivatives Broker in New York, NY, to employ financial models to develop solutions to financial problems and assess the financial or capital impact of transactions. Develop and maintain client relationships with current and new customers in order to boost our market share and trading volumes. Responsible for elaborating procedures and controls in order to increase the quality and accuracy of desks statistics regarding brokers, products and clients. Perform securities valuation and pricing. Prepare all materials for transactions and execution of deals. Utilize mathematical training to develop financial models regarding the valuation of derivatives assets for US and Mexican markets for a wide variety of products including : NDFs, FX Swaps, Forwards, Rates Swaps and inflation-linked Swaps. Utilize knowledge of Mexican FX derivatives to bring success to our company in the market. Adapt and enhance valuation and Operating risk controls developed in Mexico to apply them in the US. Support Mexico Interest Rate Swaps desk from an analytical level by providing a daily support to business growth in areas including derivatives pricing and margining. Build and oversee pricing models for Mexico TIEE swaps. Conduct research on security valuation and serve as a subject matter expert on Mexican Interest Rate Swaps for clients and market data. Study and evaluate Interest Rate Swaps data from all available sources and then analyze data to provide timely and objective assessments. Create client presentations of plan details, design, create, and maintain software tools to support internal users providing professional broking services to sell-side institutions in wholesale markets.
Requirements : Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related finance occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include : Utilizing TIIE IRS, TIIE SOFR CCS, UDI vs TIIE swaps and TIIE volatility structures to build the bridge between Mexican and U.S. clients and products; Analyzing and tracking different currencies collateral CSAs to accurately price collateral adjustments for pricing and valuation, and potential arbitrage opportunities; Pricing non-liquid OTC derivative assets including FX, Rates Volatility and Rate swaps; Developing financial models regarding the valuation of derivatives assets for U.S. and Mexican markets; Using forward starting rates to calculate carry / roll down and find relative value along the MXN rates curve; and Performing short end step curve multiple scenario analytics to identify implied monetary policy movements in the yield curve. Twenty-five percent (25%) travel required, international. Salary Range : $225,000.00 to $225,000.00 / year. 40 hours / week.
