Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify and catalog disparate data sources across the organization which are used in existing reconciliation today.
- Analyze data structures from systems including :
Internal mainframe database tables - It will primarily be DB2, with potentially a small amount of VSAM.
MongoDB instancesOracle Data Warehouses3rd-party vended platforms - The work shouldn't require knowledge of the specific platforms, just the learning agility to be able to work through potentially sourcing data from them. For context, below is the list that has data sources.Banking BAI files and other financial data formatsDesign and document strategies for efficient data extraction, transformation, and mapping to vendor-specified schemas.Partner with data engineers and integration teams to implement ETL pipelines and ensure data integrity.Create data flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, and technical documentation to support implementation and vendor onboarding.Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external teams to ensure alignment on data requirements and delivery timelines.Identify risks and dependencies related to data availability, quality, and system compatibility.Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB, DB2).Experience working with legacy systems, financial data formats (e.g., BAI files), and vendor integrations.Proficiency in data mapping, data modeling, and ETL concepts.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging tools.Familiarity with data integration platforms (e.g., Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft).Knowledge of financial services or banking systems.Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Aha!Pi-square technologies is a Michigan (USA) Headquartered Automotive Embedded Engineering Services company, Synergy Partner for major OEMs and Tier 1s and their implementation partners in Automotive Embedded Product Development, Projects, Requirements Analysis, Software Design, Software Implementation, Efficient Build, Release Process, and turnkey software V & V Services.
