About The Position

Job Title : Operations Pharmacist

Description :

Day shift operations pharmacist position for a children's hospital.

Will rotate between IV room and operations shift.

Responsible for inpatient operations including sterile compounding, non-sterile compounding, medication dispensing, and technician oversight.

Tasks include checking medication orders and stock for automated dispensing machines.

Experience in handling controlled substances, cart fill, and vaccines is essential.

Phone etiquette and basic computer skills are required.

Supervision of 2-5 technicians during the shift along with 1-2 other pharmacists is expected.

Utilize Epic as the EMR / CPOE system for medication dispensing.

Position requires attention to medication compatibility.
