Lunch Host
The Lunch Host plays a key role in creating the first and last impression of The Park Club dining experience. As one of the primary greeters during lunch service, this individual ensures that every member and guest is welcomed warmly, seated promptly, and connected seamlessly to their server. The host acts as the communication bridge between the front desk, service team, and kitchen-maintaining flow, efficiency, and hospitality throughout the lunch period.
Experience & Knowledge
1-2 years of experience in high-end or private club hospitality preferred.
Strong understanding of fine dining service flow and guest etiquette.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus to confidently answer member questions.
Polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Excellent verbal communication and guest interaction skills.
Warm, genuine, and confident when greeting and seating members.
Ability to maintain composure and poise in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Reliable and punctual; consistently arrives prepared for service.
Comfortable communicating between servers, managers, and kitchen teams.
Detail-oriented with an eye for table readiness, cleanliness, and guest comfort.
Responsibilities
Warmly greet and seat members and guests, ensuring an inviting and professional first impression.
Manage the seating chart and coordinate with servers to maintain balanced table flow.
Take and serve initial water orders, offering still or sparkling, before transferring service to the assigned server.
Communicate special requests, member preferences, and table details clearly to the service team.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the host stand, entry area, and dining room.
Thank departing members, confirm satisfaction, and invite them back with a genuine farewell.
