Salary :
Emilys Hope is looking for a highly organized and people-focused Events and Community Outreach Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of our signature fundraising events and expand our presence in the community. Responsibilities :
Event Planning & Logistics
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all fundraising and community eventsincluding the Emilys Hope Art Show and Auction, Poker Run, and other awareness events.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, vendor contracts, and logistical details.
- Oversee event registration systems, volunteer coordination, and sponsor / vendor engagement.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of community outreach materials (event booth and supplies, give-a-ways, literature, outreach collateral, presentations, other physical and digital materials) to ensure Emilys Hope has a robust resource and inventory of community outreach tools and supplies.
- Work occasional nights and weekends as needed for events.
Community Engagement
Cultivate relationships with community partners, local businesses, schools, and organizations to expand Emilys Hopes presence and partnerships.Represent Emilys Hope at community events, conferences, and outreach efforts.Assist with donor cultivation and stewardship tied to events and campaigns.Establish measurements and metrics to assess the effectiveness of Community Outreach activities. Reports on these metrics and makes recommendations for improvement and new strategies to accomplish goals.Promotional Support
Collaborate with the Marketing and Content Manager to promote events and campaigns through print and digital outreach.Contribute ideas to improve attendee experience and grow event participation year over year.Requirements :
3+ years of experience in event management, fundraising, or community outreach.Bachelors Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, Nonprofit Management or related field.Strong organizational and project management skills.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Ability to handle multiple events and tasks simultaneously.Passion for Emilys Hopes mission and engaging the public in meaningful ways.Benefits :
