PAY - $28-$32/hr

SHIFT - FIRST and SECOND available

Overview
The Machine Builder will be responsible for performing assembly of machined and/or purchased components for our ADAS Aftermarket Calibration Systems. May work from machine assembly blueprints using hand and power tools. Must be mechanically inclined.

Duties

• Builds components pertinent to the functions of the machines
• Basic understanding of blueprints and schematics
• Ability to comprehend job instructions
• Must poses basic hand tools
• Ability to wire junction boxes
• Must have knowledge of measuring skills and accurately read precision measurements

Requirements

• Knowledge of welding, fabrication
• Knowledge of heavy rigging
• Safely use a drill press, small mill, band saw
• Working knowledge of blueprints, schematics
• Ability to work independently without supervision on simple assemblies
• Basic shop math skills
• Team Oriented; ability to communicate effectively and get along with fellow employees
• Regular attendance and daily punctuality are neccessary
• Ability to work overtime when needed and occasional weekends required
• Extremely detailed orientated
• Clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multitask and have high level of organizational skills
• Able to maintain a safe and clean work environment while complying with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
• Safeyty operate a forklift and overhead crane
• Must be able to use power tools and have own hand tools
• Have basic computer skills in Excel, Word and email

• blueprint reading: 2 years (Required)
• hand & power tools: 2 years (Required)
• machine building: 2 years (Required)
• electrical wiring: 2 years (Required)
• mechanical: 2 years (Required)
• Precision measuring instruments: 2 years (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40-50 per week

Compensation Package:

• Hourly pay
• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Experience:

• Blueprint reading: 2 years (Required)
• Power tools: 2 years (Required)
• Electrical experience: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Grand Rapids, MI 49506: Relocate before starting work (Required)
