Job Summary

This senior level position coordinates with other departments as needed to resolve problems and provide technical support in order to assist with engineering operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs data management activities, which include report / tool creation, loading / entering, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting data related to engineering operations
• Performs engineering calculations and preliminary analyses for interpretation of data and provides information to engineers
• Performs advanced data analysis and makes recommendations based on interpretation of data
• Recommends design improvements using complex, but established procedures
• Coordinates data transfer and updates shared data sources among departments
• Utilizes software to discover trends in operational data and reports
• Applies skills and concepts to ensure data integrity, data reliability, and data accessibility throughout the group
• Provides basic, discipline-specific training to new systems users
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Specific Skills

Education

Minimum : High school diploma or GED

Preferred : Bachelor's degree - from accredited university - Engineering Technology, Math, Science, or related field

Experience

Minimum : 5 - 8 years related work experience
