The Quality Inspector will play a critical role in assuring that Fabcon's manufactured products meet internal quality standards, customer specifications and industry requirements. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor (or Manager), this role involves inspecting parts in process and finished goods, documenting results, identifying non-conformances, and working cross-functionally with Production, Engineering and Shipping to ensure high quality and on-time shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections of materials, components and finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM where applicable) and visual methods.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications and work orders to establish inspection criteria.
