Job descriptionLead, mentor, and develop a team of 20 direct and 15 indirect maintenance personnel. Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous learning. Monitor key maintenance metrics, including cost per pound and M&R budget adherence. Apply strong financial acumen to drive efficiency, including cost analysis using Agristats . Implement and enforce safety programs. Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, sanitation, and pre-operation guidelines . Oversee weekend rebuilds and major repair projects. Coordinate with M&R vendors to ensure timely and effective project execution. Bachelor’s degree in maintenance, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of progressive maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment (poultry / food processing preferred). Proven track record managing a shift or full maintenance operation. Strong technical background with advanced knowledge of : Welding, pneumatics, wiring, motor controls, PLC . Refrigeration and electrical systems (1–3 years). In-depth understanding of HACCP, USDA sanitation, and pre-operation guidelines . Strong leadership skills with ability to teach, observe, and mentor on the plant floor. Honesty & Integrity Effective Communication Adaptability Building Effective Teams Results-Driven Leadership Management experience required. Mid-Senior Level role. Security Clearance : Not required. Visa sponsorship : Not available. Willingness to Travel : Occasionally.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all aspects of maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement at a 465,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility . The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership and technical expertise with the ability to drive operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
