Join our team and help us make “A Better Pop, for a Better World!” Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing raw material movement, supplies and finished goods throughout the facility including unloading frozen food product from semis into warehouse freezers and loading frozen food from warehouse freezers into storage trailers / delivery trucks.
Accurately completes necessary documentation to support all warehouse transactions duties.
This position will manage a 24 / 7 warehouse operation so must have evening and weekend availability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct daily warehouse activities including picking, staging, shipping and receiving operations Lead the warehouse team to move materials, supplies and frozen food products through facility and to external facilities as necessary Supervise and coach warehouse team members, providing training and performance feedback Properly document work performed according to standard work instructions Monitor inventory accuracy and product rotation (FIFO / FEFO) to prevent loss or quality issues; partner with Inventory Control team to maintain and manage all inventory (onsite / offsite) Enforce safe material handling and storage practices, ensuring compliance with food and worker safety standards Direct production support personnel as needed to follow warehouse and storage organization plan Coordinate closely with production and planning teams to ensure timely material availability Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse, dock and storage areas. Clean up and dispose of scrap, bracing, cardboard and strapping and places in proper containers or designated areas Provide leadership and accountability around proper food safety, quality, regulatory and customer requirements Food Safety Responsibilities Oversee proper storage conditions, including :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on a manufacturing plant floor. Minimum Qualifications At least five (3) years’ experiences including three (2) years in a supervisory role in food manufacturing. Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to implement HACCP, SQF, SOPs, SSOP’s, GMPs, and preventative maintenance programs applicable to food production and food safety principles. Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Relevant experience in manufacturing processes Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. Strong leadership and motivational skills. Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to prioritize under the pressure of tight deadlines.
